During 5th Grade library time, the students viewed a video about matter. One of the experiments, showed that air had mass. The students asked if they could try it and IT WORKED!!. Mrs. McWhorter put tissues in a glass jar and inserted the jar into a container of water and held it there for three seconds. When she took the jar out, the tissues were dry proving that air has mass and kept the water from the tissues. Science is FUN!.
