FFA held their banquet last evening at the high school. Thank you to everyone that attended and supports our FFA Chapter and congratulations to the award winners and the new FFA officers.



Ben Rudrud visited Hedding Grade School yesterday to talk with students about being a good friend and the power of words. Staff and students enjoyed their time with Ben!

This Week at AAMS

Work continues as we look forward to the Spring play, Mary Poppins. The play is scheduled for March 17, 18, and 19. We hope you can attend.



Congratulations to Tanner Klockenga. Tanner won the area of Beef Entrepreneurship at the District 1 proficiency interviews and is now in the top 5 in the state in this area. He now advances to the state contest on March 25th. Good luck Tanner!

This Week at AAMS

Congratulations to the AAHS February Students of the Month. Lily Cox, Talon Hunter, Ayden Boone, and Gracie Baisden. Students were selected by the AAHS staff for the character trait: Cooperation.

Congratulations to the newest AAHS inductees into the National Honor Society.

The Knox County Sheriff's Department contacted Hedding Grade School and Abingdon-Avon High School to lift the lockdown. Both schools will be resuming regular activity immediately.
Hedding Grade School and Abingdon-Avon High School were advised by the Abingdon Police Department to enter a soft lockdown. The lockdown will be in place until an individual involved in a car chase that took place in Abingdon is apprehended.
