On Saturday December 6, Hedding Grade School hosted Pancakes with Santa. Families were invited to enjoy free pancakes and sausage. This event is spearheaded annually by Hedding Grade School staff volunteers and is funded by the PTO. Additionally, Key Club students provided activities for the students that included completing a recipe for reindeer food, coloring pages, and creating a Rudolph the red nosed reindeer hat. Our very own Technology Specialist, Katie Burgess provided a free photo opportunity with Santa Claus for all students. Katie has a her own photography business. She donated her time and is making all pictures a free download for families. "Thank you" to Katherine B Photography for such a kind act. Several HGS staff members and volunteer parents pitched in to set-up, serve, assist, and clean-up. Another big "THANK YOU" to everyone who gave up some personal time on Saturday to provide this wonderful opportunity to our students and families.
