The last day of school for AAMS students was a Class War competition. Students spent the day outside participating in events earning points for their grade level. Students had the option to play in a kickball tournament, balloon toss, free throw contest, penalty kick contest, or play outdoor yard games or cards. It was a fun day, with the 8th grade winning it all!







Thank you, CAD Construction for taking some 7th and 8th graders through the construction at AAMS. Students spoke with various workers and learned about the jobs they do and their wages. The students had great questions for the workers!

Building Kites with Mrs. Lujan! It's creative, fun, and rich with mathematical concepts including measurements, symmetry, perimeter, and parallel & perpendicular lines. Here are a few examples of kites created by our 8th-grade students!
